Ms. Sarah Cress: Photography 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6
Sarah Nicole Cress is currently in her fourth year of teaching photography at Streamwood High School in Streamwood, Illinois. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in photography, her bachelor’s degree in art education and her master’s degree in art education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006. Although Cress’ passion in the arts derives from her photography, she also enjoys various other media. This appreciation for variation is what encourages Cress’ integration of numerous types of artistic experiences in her classroom environment.
While not in the classroom, Cress enjoys spending her time working on independent photography projects of her own and writing. Look for Cress' books entitled "Artist Postcards: Creating and Communicating Through the Arts" and "Artist Postcards the Continuation of an Artistic Adventure" featuring various Streamwood student work.

Mrs. Erin Vance: Discovery Photography
Erin Vance is currently in her fourth year of teaching Art. This is her third year at Streamwood High School. Erin received her BFA in Art Education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2006. Vance is currently working towards her Masters degree in education at Northern Illinois University. Erin currently teaches Discovery Photography, Cartooning & Animation, and Jewelry, but has taught drawing and painting classes in the years past.
After school, Vance is the Head Coach of the Streamwood Cheerleaders. The 07-08 team qualified for the IHSA State Championship for the first time in the school’s history. Erin hopes for another successful season this year. Outside of school, Vance enjoys photographing her travels and freelancing graphic design logos and artwork. Most of all, Erin loves to spend time at home with her husband and cairn terrier.
